Atlas
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 July 2026
The short version: your travel data never leaves your device, and we collect nothing. Atlas has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs.
What Atlas stores
Your places, notes, photos, profile name and avatar are stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. Atlas has no servers and no ability to see any of it.
Photo library access
If you use photo import, Atlas reads the location and date information in the photos you allow it to see, entirely on your device, to suggest places you've visited. Photos you attach to a place are copied into the app's private storage on your device. Your photos are never uploaded anywhere.
Purchases
Atlas Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive no personal or payment information from your purchase. Manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings.
Deleting your data
Delete any place from its detail screen (its photo is removed too). Deleting the app removes everything Atlas stored.
Future features
If we ever add optional cloud sync or online imagery, this policy will be updated first, and any such feature will be opt-in.
